So, here's the reality of the internal communications.



Internal Communications

Definition: Internal communications (IC) is the function responsible for effective communications among participants within an organization. Many practitioners highlight that they are not responsible for the day to day intercourse between colleagues but rather in helping an organisation achieve its goals by building understanding and engagement. 

Internal communications can take place via social media network, television and more.

Why is Internal Communications important?

Its empowers to deliver business strategy by supporting the beliefs, behaviours and culture that shape this – and your company’s future. It means that when speaking to customers, what employees say is positive – and increasingly, so is your brand and reputation. 
If do this well, it'll have a good results to company. They'll create nearly 50% more total shareholder returns than their peers. They reach productivity and profitability rates that are high, around 70%,and their employees will be more sure and understand what customer needs.

Advantages of Internal Communications.

Give you the possibility to transmit data,values, behaviours, and feeling. This'll enhance the sense of your employees to belong to the company. It'll motivate them to improve their productivity which let you stay competitive and put you in a good position to face challenges successfully.

Employees will start to learn with each other, give more advise , and encouraging. Improve their productivity and lastly reach a win-win situation between employees and company.


How to improve internal communications?

We can start from understand what employees think. So, we can do a survey in the company. Ask for their suggestion and employer have enough information to improve!

As an example : A company have a communicate problem between department. So, employer maybe can held up a lunch together with all employees, and ask them to sit randomly to build up relationship with other department workers. After the lunch , the employer can talk to them about the target of the company and situation of the company . In the end, we can ask for employees feedback, it might solve the problem. Make more communication link with employees, let them feel they are at home when they are at company. 


So stop leaving internal communication to chance! Create and execute an internal communications planthat will support a growing midsized company.
