Difference between PR , Marketing and Advertising.

Advertising is what you pay for
Publicity is what you pray for

Public Relations is all about persuades.

Advertising and PR is normally be included in marketing.

Marketing is the effort to help and sell company's product or services. It's a process to communicate and deliver message to target audiences using 4P (product, price, place, promotion).

Advertising is bought media- an advertisement space. A company completely know what to published. You can run a advertisement based on your budget.

Public Relations is to earned media. It's concerned with driving brand awareness, building reputation and tell about brand story.It's purpose to build a trusting relationship between brand and customers primarily through exposure and coverage in the media. Marketing tactics : press release ,interviews and public affairs.

In this video , they suggest to sent message to their employees through video, because nowadays most of the company still using traditional email and long text to their employees, this'll make them don't really feel to read it (this is my opinion). So using video is the best, because nowadays people consume lot of media. Using video is kind of entertain and not boring as reading long email. As a research , they find out that people spend more time on watching videos, its already become part of their habits. There have many way to integrated video to your company's internal, such as CEO speech, online training and more, and we must remember that everything in the video must be short and sweet, make employees feel that its free and easy. Let them more simple and easy to digest all those information , and only include the important information.Avoid being too formal, just speak like you are having a conversation with your employees.


Opinion:
Make it to a video is much more interesting than long email. But make a weekly video is it too rush? 
Monthly video newsletter is okay .

I think I get it right about what is internal communications.

Just I have know more about internal communications while I searching for information about internal communications.

In my opinion, success of a company, mostly is because of our hardworking , our unite as one's employees. Their loyal to the company make their company more good, more success in the business path or any other path. So, if you want to success in your work, communicate well with your employees ! Be friend with them or even family, don't treated them as employees all the time, this will let them feel more confident and determined to face every challenges.

Definition: Internal communications (IC) is the function responsible for effective communications among participants within an organization. Many practitioners highlight that they are not responsible for the day to day intercourse between colleagues but rather in helping an organisation achieve its goals by building understanding and engagement. 

Internal communications can take place via social media network, television and more.

Why is Internal Communications important?

Its empowers to deliver business strategy by supporting the beliefs, behaviours and culture that shape this – and your company’s future. It means that when speaking to customers, what employees say is positive – and increasingly, so is your brand and reputation. 
If do this well, it'll have a good results to company. They'll create nearly 50% more total shareholder returns than their peers. They reach productivity and profitability rates that are high, around 70%,and their employees will be more sure and understand what customer needs.

Advantages of Internal Communications.

Give you the possibility to transmit data,values, behaviours, and feeling. This'll enhance the sense of your employees to belong to the company. It'll motivate them to improve their productivity which let you stay competitive and put you in a good position to face challenges successfully.

Employees will start to learn with each other, give more advise , and encouraging. Improve their productivity and lastly reach a win-win situation between employees and company.


How to improve internal communications?

We can start from understand what employees think. So, we can do a survey in the company. Ask for their suggestion and employer have enough information to improve!

As an example : A company have a communicate problem between department. So, employer maybe can held up a lunch together with all employees, and ask them to sit randomly to build up relationship with other department workers. After the lunch , the employer can talk to them about the target of the company and situation of the company . In the end, we can ask for employees feedback, it might solve the problem. Make more communication link with employees, let them feel they are at home when they are at company. 


So stop leaving internal communication to chance! Create and execute an internal communications planthat will support a growing midsized company.



P.S Internal Communications is same as employees relations/ communications.

Before I start to talk about the reality of internal communications.

Let me start with my perspective.

From the word ' internal communications'
I can know that its something about manage inside of the company or organisation.
It's to build up well relationship with all the employee from up to down ?
And sending the same message to everyone , make sure they have no mistake and know about how the company works.
This can also make employee feel safe and have more loyalty to their company.
And I think that internal communications is something like employee relations too ?

So, this is my perspective of internal communications !
